Refund Policy

When refunds are available
Refunds are only available in the following circumstances:
- Accidental purchase — you purchased something you did not intend to (e.g. a double-click that triggered two top-ups, a wrong account, an unintended renewal you immediately wish to reverse).
- Wrong product — you bought a product that does not match what you actually wanted (e.g. you intended JAI Pro but checked out the Donor tier instead).
Eligibility windows
Refund requests must be submitted within the following windows from the time of purchase, or they will not be considered:
- Accidental purchase — within 24 hours of the original transaction.
- Wrong product — within 72 hours of the original transaction.
Processing time
Approved refunds can take up to 14 days to be processed internally. After approval, the funds will be returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Your bank or card issuer may add a further few business days before the funds appear on your statement.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] and include:
- Your account name (username)
- The email address on the account
- What you bought (JAI Pro, JAI Top-up, or Donor) and the date of purchase
- The reason you'd like a refund
If any of these are missing we may need to come back to you for more information, which will delay the request.

What is not refundable
- Subscriptions that have already renewed for the current billing period beyond the 24-hour accidental-purchase window.
- Top-ups that have already had messages consumed against them.
- Donor contributions made knowingly and intentionally outside the 24-hour accidental-purchase window — the Donor tier is, by its nature, a voluntary contribution.
- Any request submitted outside the eligibility windows above.
